MY STORY
ANNETTE CORMIER, ARTIST PAINTER
Who am I?
I am an Acadian painter . Acadia, this poetic country located between the sea and the wind, where the skies are breathtaking. The colors are so pure there that they make me vibrate. They gave me this intense taste of color, my leitmotif.

But who am I really?
Where am I really from?
Nothing was proof against my parents. My father, an outstanding handyman and my mother, artist, seamstress, gardener and cordon bleu, showed me that in life, anything was possible. I have learned that with hard work and the will to succeed, our dreams come true.

But we don't always listen to our voice!
What was my path?
​
I have had a medical career of which I am proud. With my partner, we raised our family, three children who have now grown into three wonderful responsible adults. At the same time, I have also studied art in all its forms for many years, I would say almost all of my life.
​
But this was only part of my life!
The other part of my life, my art career.
I feel happiness when I paint. I love to see objects, landscapes and nature take shape under my brush. Willpower and hard work brought me where I wanted to go, in the other part of my life, the creative part, where I see color transforming my world.
