Annette is an Acadian painter living in Quebec. Her painting stands out with vibrant and saturated colors and the pictorial language is expressed in spontaneous and contemporary movements. Her creations are inspired by everyday life, the trips she made, her personal experiences or simply by her imagination.
She inherited her intense liking for color from her native Acadie, this poetic country located between the sea and the wind, where the skies are breathtaking and the sea is as far as the eye can see.
Each painting is unique and authentic and was deeply felt before the brush even licked the canvas.
Art is the reflection of the human soul, dazzled by the splendor of beauty.
Victor Hugo
I paint everyday life; fruits, flowers, the sea and my travel memories. I see beauty everywhere I lay my eyes.
I get emotional watching tulip fields and marvel at the first budding in the spring. I paint with a spontaneous and free gesture with sustained and vivid colors. My brush is racing in front of the palette and the colors grow impatient in front of the canvas.
I feel happiness when I paint. I love to see objects, landscapes and nature take shape under my brush. Willpower and hard work brought me where I wanted to go; in another dimension of my life, a creative one, where I see color transforming my universe.

What could be more inspiring than a beautiful red apple. Colors speaks to me, call out to me, I can't help but paint vibrant and saturated colors.
